Currently, the Reorder Threshold that is set for each Inventory Item applies to all Locations, and is not able to be set differently for each Location. This works fine for a single Location organization, or if each Location does it's own re-ordering (and all are ok with having the same threshold).
However, a common model in larger organizations (especially multi-campus churches) is to have a central warehouse to store all inventory items, then deploy them to campuses as needed. Then, the central warehouse (only) would reorder when that level drops below the threshold.
To help to provide for this scenario above, you can specify Location when setting up a System Alert for Reorder Threshold!
Go to the left navigation bar>Settings>Advanced>System Alerts>Setup System Alerts
For Inventory Reorder, after checking Enabled, you can specify the Location. By default, All Locations will be used.
NOTE: This allows you to get the Inventory Reorder System Alert on just one Location that is the central warehouse for your Inventory.
