Admins can decide if they want a requested completion date to appear field on work order templates or not. If visible, then users would be able to set their own requested completion date on the work order that they submit.
In order to do so, go to the left navigation bar > Settings > Advanced > General > Display Features and you will see the following settings:
If you elect to Hide Requested Completion Date on "Add Work Order" form..., then the Require options disappear
- There are separate options for Portal Users and Internal Users
Once this setting is saved, Portal Users and Internal Users will no longer see the Requested Completion Date field on the Add Work Order form
If you elect to Require Requested Completion Date on "Add Work Order" form..., then Users will see an asterisk to the right of the Requested Completion Date field
