When a technician (user, sub-admins or admins in Work Order & Asset Management) enters their time for a Task it will be recorded to the Costs Tab for that work order.
- Users, sub-admins, and admins can only be assigned work orders that have one of the service categories that they have been granted access to under their user permissions.
After a technician hits Complete on a Work Order, they are presented with a prompt to enter their time for any tasks associated with that Work Order.
- They can toggle on to the right of "Save this task's time and labor as a Time/Labor entry on the work order's Costs Tab"
- Then enter Total Completed Hours for the Task(s)
- And hit Save
Now the Task shows as Completed on the Task Tab and the recorded time appears on the Costs Tab
