Rather than creating separate work orders for separate tasks, you can assign multiple tasks to one work order! All work orders have a standard "Tasks" tab where admins and sub-admins (who can manage work orders) can assign tasks. Different tasks on the same work order can be assigned to different users, sub-admins, and admins for completion. All users, sub-admins, and admins will see their assigned tasks on their dashboard in the "My Assigned Tasks" grid.
- Users, sub-admins, and admins can only be assigned work orders that have one of the service categories, departments, and locations that they have been granted access to under their user permissions.
- Admins can "Require Total Completed Hours for Tasks and Cost Items that are Time/Labor" on all work orders under Settings > Advanced > General > Work Order Workflow.

Option One for Completion
Once a task is complete, the user, sub-admins, or admin can click "Complete" on the task in their "My Assigned Tasks" grid.
- However, in order to add time/labor for the task(s) to the work order, an admin will need to enable "Require Total Completed Hours for Tasks and Cost Items that are Time/Labor" under Settings > Advanced > General > Work Order Workflow. Once done, then when they click to "Complete" the task, a pop-up box will appear where they can A. enter in an estimated number of hours and total completed hours be recorded, B. toggle on "Save time and labor entry as work order cost", and C. Save.
Option Two for Completion
2. When a user, sub-admin, or admin clicks "Complete" on a work order that has tasks in their "My Assig Work Orders" grid, a pop-up box will appear where they can A. enter in an estimated number of hours and total completed hours be recorded, B. toggle on "Save time and labor entry as work order cost", and C. Save. If there is more than one task on that work order, then they will be able to enter in time for each task.
- The setting "Require Total Completed Hours for Tasks and Cost Items that are Time/Labor" under Settings > Advanced > General > Work Order Workflow does NOT need to be enabled in order for this pop up bow to appear when completing a work order in "My Assign Work Orders".
Once done, the users, sub-admins, and admins will see the time that the tasks took on the Cost tab of the work order.
On the Costs tab, the user, sub-admins, and admins will also be able to see the uncompleted and completed tasks for that work order.
On the "Complete" sub-tab is where you can see all the completed tasks.
- On this sub-tab is also where you can edit, delete, or click "To Do" in order to push the task back to the uncompleted sub-tab.
