You can grant an Event Admin to have Sub-Admin role at the same time
When in a User's profile, after selecting them to be an Event Admin select Specify Approval Areas, and under User Approval Areas, select their Approval Area
Now, that User sees ALL events requiring approval in the REQUIRES ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL grid
The User can simply monitor those events ensuring they are progressing through the workflow, or they can also click Approve and the event will be fully approved utilizing their Admin role
However, there is now an additional grid for this User called MY APPROVAL AREA ITEMS
In this grid, the User clicks Approve and will ONLY approve the Approval Area for their Sub-Admin role
