Our team is excited to share that a new version of eSPACE is coming very soon! As you may have seen by our message last week, we have begun beta testing of “eSPACE 2020”. This new version of eSPACE is a big improvement in two main ways:
All New Look-And-Feel
Using a modern user interface with fresh colors and a stylish look that is very pleasing to the eye. And you’ll notice more modern elements throughout the site, like “slide toggles” that have replaced traditional “checkboxes”. Here’s a sneak peek:
Outstanding Mobile Experience
eSPACE 2020 is designed to look as great on mobile devices as it does on a desktop computer (some have said it looks even better!). It works very well on smartphones and tablets, with elements sized big enough for your fingers to navigate around. Technically speaking, it conforms to “Progressive Web App” (PWA) standards, which means it behaves much like a natively installed app. You can even save it as an icon on your device’s home screen, and launch it in full-screen mode (more to come on that later). Here’s a sneak peek:
One of the great things about this update is that you will not have to relearn anything. Everything will just look better, and in many cases, perform better as well!
This email has been sent to only the admins of eSPACE accounts. We plan to post a message to all eSPACE users in the next day or so, but we wanted to email you directly first.
Here are answers to a few questions you may have. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Other questions you may have:
Q: How soon until eSPACE 2020 is released?
A: Just a few weeks away. Depends a little on the beta testing feedback we get.
Q: Will eSPACE 2020 cost any more?
A: No. eSPACE 2020 will be included with your current pricing.
Q: Will there be an option to stay at the previous version?
A: No. But if something isn’t working right in the new version, we will try to get it fixed quickly!
Q: Will the mobile app be updated?
A: eSPACE 2020 will eventually replace the mobile version. With eSPACE 2020’s mobile web experience, you’ll be able to do everything you can do with current mobile app (and more!).
Q: What is that “Scan Barcode” button on the mobile screenshot?
A: That is a really cool feature we offer our Asset and Inventory Management customers that allows you to barcode assets and scan them for work orders.
