You can easily upload any documents here (owner's manuals, evacuation plan, work schedules, etc.) that you want to have access to and be able to share with others within your organization. You can add these to equipment or within a work order.
- Size Limitation: You should be allowed to upload any file types to the Document Library, except .exe files. The size of the document may be limited by what your browser can handle (which in the past has been a couple hundred MB), but eSPACE does not limit it. Also, there is no current limit to the number of documents that can be uploaded. The Document Name should be less than 45 characters.
Adding to Document Library
To add a document, go to Settings > Advanced > Document Library, name the document and upload your document from your computer.
- After uploading, click Save.
Once you've uploaded all of your documents, you can edit the name of the document or delete the document. You can also add any of your documents to a work order or piece of equipment.
Admins can refer to the documents in the document library anytime. To view the document, just click on the name.
They can also download them in order to share them with others. To download, just click on the name and then choose the download option in the next window.
