Pending Events Reserve Items
Once you are done editing an event, it's important to submit it for approval as soon as possible. Only events that are in a pending status reserve the items (spaces, resources, and services) that are selected on the event.
However, if you leave an event in a draft status (although it will not reserve the items selected) you can pick up where you left off by selecting the event from within your "My Drafts" grid on your dashboard. If you have no events in draft mode, you will not see a "My Drafts" grid on your dashboard.
