Admins, when you go to Settings > Basic > Spaces/Resources/Services, you can quickly view your items settings and see any associated Location, Area, Form, and Configurations for each. The Spaces grid also includes "Max Capacity" as shown below.
Item Search Bar
Search any space, resource or service by key words in the name on their respective page under Settings > Basic.
Filtering and Sorting
You can also filter or sort by any column header on the space, resource or service page in order to quickly find spaces, resources or services with certain shared settings or names.
If you have a "parent" & "child" hierarchy setup for your items, you will need to click on the "+" to expand your parent item to view the child items below to view the associations. Once expanded, you can also see quickly if the item can be scheduled and if it requires approval and more!
- Creating or rearranging items in a hierarchy is a great way to group spaces/resources/services together by a building, floor, or building section.
- While the "parent" item groups items, only the "child" items are what go through conflict detection and can be scheduled on events. Therefore, make sure that none of your "parent" items are items that actually need to be reserved on events.
- These settings (Can Item Be Scheduled? and Requires Approval?) are not applicable whenever an Item becomes a "Parent" because "Paret" spaces are a way to organize "child" spaces. The "child" spaces are the ones that actually get scheduled on events.
