To start adding an event you can click "Add Event" at the top right hand side of your Event Scheduler account or go to Calendar > Item Schedulers > Daily Spaces and double click on any empty/available space.
After you fill out all the necessary fields on the Details tab, you can choose from the list of spaces, resources, and services available on the Items tab based on the location that was chosen on the Details tab.
Spaces/Resources/Services Required
- Unless you mark your event as being offsite or virtual on the main Details tab, then an event should always have at least one space and/or resource and or/service selected.
Conflict Detection
- As you review and select your Spaces/Resources/Services, you will quickly be able to identify if the space/resource/service is available for your event and all occurrences. You will see either a green check mark for items not in conflict or a red caution triangle with "See Conflicts" next to it (see attached below).
- There is real-time conflict detection throughout the event scheduling process. To see the conflicts with your selection/date, you can click on the "See Conflicts".
Adding Spaces
- To Add Spaces, toggle ON next to any space. This can be done at the “parent” or the “child” level of the hierarchical tree.
- You can easily see which spaces are selected at the top right side. There you can click the trash icon to delete any or you can click "Remove All" to quickly remove all of them at once.
If you started this process from the Daily Space view under Calendar > Item Scheduler, the space will already be pre-populated.
Adding Resources
Click Next to proceed to Resources and enter the same way as Spaces
- If an admin has itemized resources, then all users will be able to enter in the amount of a resource that they want. Once all of that resource is booked for that same time and date then the resource will show as unavailable.

Adding Services
Follow the same steps to select Services
- If an admin has disabled conflict detection for services then the same service will be able to be reserved on overlapping events They can do this under Settings > Advanced > General > Conflicts.
