When creating an event (private or public), you can choose to make it offsite. This will make all occurrences on the event offsite as you can not make individual occurrences onsite and others offsite on the same event.
On the Details tab of the event, scroll down the page till you see the "Offsite?" option and toggle on if your event is going to be offsite.
Doing this will cause the following to happen:
- All users will be able to filter events by "Offsite" on the internal calendar views.
- All users will be able to filter for "Offsite" events in reports.
- No space, resource, or service will be required on the event.
Once you Submit your event, it will appear on the Dashboard and the internal calendars views with a new tag that says Offsite.
