This module is designed to work with Event Scheduler so that as events are approved in Event Scheduler eSPACE sends "unlock" and "relock" commands through the API to your doors through SECURESPACE (a sub-module of FACILITeSPACE).
Pricing
SECURESPACE is available for a separate monthly fee and 1-time setup cost.
- The latest pricing can be found on our website: https://www.smartchurchsolutions.com/software/pricing/
- Before you add SECURESPACE, please reach out to support@smartchurchsolutions.com to make sure your doors system is one of the door companies that we have an already established partnership.
- If you currently only have Work Order & Asset Management on your eSPACE subscription, you will need to also add Event Scheduler. Approved events in Event Scheduler are what get pushed through SECURESPACE "unlock" and "relock" your doors.

Configuring Your Account
-
- After your demo and after you add SECURESPACE to your subscription, please contact support and let us know which specific access control company to configure your FACILITeSPACE account for. Support@smartchurchsolutions.com or select Help > Support in your eSPACE account at the top right.
- Each integration with the different access controls companies is built uniquely in order to bridge the gap between the 2 systems. To see the full instructions for your specific door integration, please email Support and ask for the instructions for your specific doors.
- You can set the doors to be scheduled to unlock before the start time of the event by either putting in global unlock and relock times/min or by setting individual buffer times for each door to unlock and relock after the start/end time of the event. Both of these settings can be found in FACILITeSPACE under Access Control > your door type.
- Each integration is built differently in order to be compatible with the access controls for each company’s programming language structure.
- You can also set an override for the event so that the doors unlock and relock at specific times either on the event in Event Scheduler from either on the main Details tab OR the Items > Door Tab. Additionally, you can also set an override for the doors on the event from the FACILITeSPACE Dashboard.
-
Details Tab Override
- This override will apply to all the doors that are naturally and automatically selected based on what spaces are selected and how spaces and doors are assigned in FACILITeSPACE. If you have also manually selected any doors on the Items > Door tab, this override will apply to them as well.
-
-
-
- Once you add an unlock/lock override on the Details tab of an event, you will see that reflected on the Items > Doors tab as well as the FACILITeSPACE Dashboard when you click "Edit Door Access" on an event.
-
Items > Door Tab Override
- This override will also apply to all doors automatically selected based on what spaces are selected as well as any additional door overrides you add on this page. If multiple doors are selected here then you can also set individual overrides for different doors by selecting "Add Unlock/Lock Time" and choosing the doors you want that additional unlock/lock time to apply to.
-
-
-
- Once you add multiple overrides for different doors on the Items > Door tab, you will see those changes reflected on the Details tab under the Door section as well as the FACILITeSPACE Dashboard when you click "Edit Door Access" on an event.
-
- Overrides are considered event or occurrence-specific and will not copy over to new events.
Adding Occurrences to Events
Any occurrence you add by selecting "Add Occurrence" on the Occurrence tab of an event will automatically copy the spaces and doors chosen on the event's Items > Space and Doors tab. This includes any doors that were manually toggle on and any override unlock/lock schedules added on the event's Items > Door tab.
When adding an occurrence, you can also choose to not include door controls for that occurrence so eSPACE doesn't send an unlock and relock command for that particular occurrence.
Once an occurrence has been added, you can still make adjustments to the space, resources, services and/or doors just like with the other individual occurrences on the Occurrences tab.
Schedule Logs
*If you have an override for the doors, then the “unlock” and “relock” commands will be sent at those times.
- If you want to see if eSPACE sent the command to “unlock” and “relock” for an event, you can do so in your FACILITeSPACE account under Access Control > your door type.
- To view the door schedule logs, click the symbol on the far left hand side of a door in order to expand the logs.
Location
Whether you have one or more locations, because locations are the foundation of every eSPACE account, doors must be assigned to their proper location under Settings > Basic > Locations in Event Scheduler in order for this integration to work properly.
