This feature is helpful for organizations that use the API feature to display eSPACE data within other applications and websites such as creating a more customized public calendar on their website.

- Please know that although many companies provide API keys for customers to use to create their own integrations, the type of API calls and information included in each varies widely from company to company. To see what type of data is included in our API calls, please learn more about in the article mentioned above. There you will see how to navigate to the page where we list all our API calls.
In order to start using override locations in the API calls go to Settings>Advanced>General>API Settings and toggle "On" the following setting:
Now, when you add an "Override Location/Space(s)" name under the Event>Items>Spaces tab as shown below, you will be able to see this in your API data:
NOTE: This event has toggled off on the Details page of the event
Go to Settings>Other>Developer to see this data before using the API feature
Expand "Event" and choose "GET" for the following event data:
Now, 1) enter the Event ID and 2) click "Try it out!"
Once the process is done you can scroll down to the bottom within "Response Body" and find the data for "SpacesOnPublicCalendarDisplay" - see below
This data should match what you entered in the "Override Location/Space(s)" name under the Event>Items>Spaces tab
